Lancashire, Voluntary, Community & Faith Sector Consortium

The Lancashire VCFS Consortium is a partnership of voluntary, community and faith sector organisations working closely with public sector bodies and agencies. It was established in March 2004 to develop the rural and urban infrastructure services enabling improved access to services and support for all communities across Lancashire. The Lancashire VCFS consortium aims to strengthen physical facilities, structures, systems and relationships, as well as the people, knowledge and skills that help frontline organisations achieve their aims.

The Consortium has been at the forefront of developments in the sector and is currently looking at developing the investment programme from Capacitybuilders with its partners in line with local priorities.

In Lancashire the consortium has a district and specialist representation across the county. The Lancashire VCFS website demonstrates the diversity and vibrancy of the sector and shows the strategic aims of the all the partners.
If you have any information or content that will be of interest for your local community and or contribute, inform or develop the sector in Lancashire, please feel free to send to info@vcfs.org.uk.
