Friendship Centre
Development Worker
Hours: 7 per week (initially a one year fixed term contract)
Salary: £22,221 pro rata
The Friendship Centre is a social centre for older people in Lancaster, open three mornings a week providing a wide range of activities/classes, and the opportunity for social contact and peer support.
The Development Worker will support the Friendship Centre management committee in the running of the centre and its future development through fundraising (for core costs and centre activities); policy development and policy review; and liaison with other appropriate organisations.
This post will be subject to an enhanced CRB check.
