Lancaster District CVS does not currently operate a volunteer service in the district but supports volunteering in the district in the following ways:

  • Hosting an annual Volunteer Achievement Awards ceremony
  • Volunteer Co-ordinators Network
  • Advice and information with policies around volunteering
  • Training for volunteers and volunteer managers

Lancashire County Council Volunteer Service

Lancashire County Council has a diverse range of volunteer opportunities to offer across the authority, supporting a variety of services. Volunteer opportunities include supporting adult social care, care services, children's centres, countryside service, youth offending team, trading standards, mystery shopping and many more.

v is a new youth volunteering charity which has been set up to inspire a new generation of young volunteers by developing volunteering opportunities for young people; running a volunteering opportunities database; distributing certificates of achievement (v50 & vImpact) and offering free training courses.
