Lancaster District CVS does not currently operate a volunteer service in the district but supports volunteering and the voluntary sector in other ways (see bottom of page).

District 50 Forward Volunteer Bureau

Lancashire County Council Volunteer Service

Lancashire County Council currently has over 400 registered volunteers who provide companionship and befriending to socially isolated adults in their local community. Volunteer within the fields of: Learning Disabilities, Sensory Impairment, Older People, Supporting Carers, Physical Disability and Mental Health.

Volunteering Lancashire

Although there is no 'Volunteer Centre' (ie under the Volunteering Lancashire brand) in the Lancaster area, the Volunteering Lancashire site will direct you towards Volunteer Centres and volunteering opportunities in the Lancashire area.
